Who Lives Here?

I have found a lot of holes in the lawn. There must be about 20 of them. They are roughly egg-sized.

I am wondering what lives here and suspect that it must be field voles. If anyone can confirm, I would be very grateful.

I also took a photo (not a very good one) inside one of the holes and it shows droppings which may be useful for the ID.
